We certainly aren’t suggesting there is anything terribly interesting when it comes to taxes.
In our view, though, tax policy is another matter.
Did you know:
- The so-called marriage “penalty” actually works as a marriage “benefit” for many working couples?
- That since 1960, effective tax rates have increased slightly for the middle class, yet dropped nearly by half for the top one percent?
